Dixie Botanicals Review

Do a quick Google search of ‘CBD,’ and you’ll come up with a long, endless list of reasons why you should try it.

CBD is quickly overtaking THC in popularity and is now considered to be an incredibly effective natural treatment for many different health conditions. You can find proof of this online as there seem to be endless studies and research that indicates just how beneficial it is.

Lots of companies online have seen the writing on the wall and are trying to make their millions from selling popular CBD products.

While this means that you have your pick of the crop, it also means that there are companies out there who shouldn’t be allowed to sell it – but it’s an unregulated industry.

Let’s review one company and determine whether you can trust them with their CBD products or not.

A Review of Dixie Botanicals

When looking at Dixie Botanicals, we’re quite surprised at the price range they fall into. Usually, CBD oil companies have a few products that are affordable and then some that fall into a higher price category, but Dixie Botanicals seem to begin at quite a high rate. You can get their products from $49, and they go up to $199.

We do appreciate that Dixie Botanicals are quite upfront and honest about their manufacturing process, including their sanitation method, as well as any controls that could possibly impact that composition and quality of the end result.

Dixie Botanicals care about their products enough not to make them with any preservatives, sugar, or coloring, which is what we like to see. You may have already heard of Dixie Botanicals because they are reasonably well known and can be found in a number of different dispensaries across the states.

What we don’t like with Dixie Botanicals, however, is that they’re only chosen to publish on lab test result since early 2014, which is pretty disappointing.

This means that a lot of time has passed since they showed any indication that they lab test at all, which makes it hard to believe that they still do. This is way too long to not have proof that you lab test your products, especially when they claim to put every batch they make through a third party lab.

Another thing that we don’t like too much about Dixie Botanicals is that we’re not sure about who’s behind the name of this company. In fact, it was only recently that they appeared to change hands and were sold under the name ‘Hemp Meds.’

Whatever they’re doing now, it remains clear that we’re not too sure who is currently operating them, which doesn’t do a lot for confidence and trust. This also leads us to question the general integrity of both their products and their business ethos.

Scam or Legit; Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, Dixie Botanicals appear to be a company that has done well off the recent CBD boom and as a result, has been able to stock a lot of its products in dispensaries around America.

However, this type of success doesn’t always mean that the company is worth purchasing from. The fact that they haven’t got any signs of lab testing since 2014 is their biggest downfall – there’s no way of knowing whether their products carry the right potency or purity. This is the biggest reason why we cannot recommend them as a company and have to suggest that you look elsewhere for your CBD.

What’s more, we can’t determine who is exactly behind the wheel here. This does nothing for our confidence and doesn’t make us want to affiliate with them.
