Progressive Pet Products Review

There’s a new type of natural remedy in town, and its name is CBD oil. It comes in many different forms, from oil that you take orally to tinctures, topical creams, e-liquid, and even bath bombs.

You can also get CBD oil for your pet, which is a great option considering all the chemically based pharmaceuticals out there today.

Studies are being done all the time that point to the health benefits of CBD, which means that there are now hundreds if not thousands of companies selling CBD oil in various different forms.

While this means that you have your pick, it also means that there will be companies you can’t trust. Let’s give one of these companies a review and determine whether they’re worth buying your CBD oil from or not.

Progressive Pet Products: The Details

Progressive Pet Products is – you guessed it – a CBD oil company aimed exclusively at pets. In fact, it’s owned by a veterinarian, so it’s truly all about animals and CBD products. Both the business model and the products available on their website look legitimate, which means initially we’re pretty impressed.

However, what we don’t like too much about this company is that they haven’t got anything about their lab testing and they haven’t disclosed their hemp source – both essential parts of owning a CBD oil company.

Lori Smith is the proud owner and operator of Progressive Pet Products. She divides her time between running this company and being a veterinarian, so needless to say she is busy – but she knows what she’s doing.

She’s a big believer in offering animals a natural alternative similar to what humans have access to, which promotes their overall wellbeing.

While they have a number of different products on offer, by far the best-looking one is their transdermal gel. While it was initially made for just cats, it’s been proven to help a wide range of animals and is popular because it’s easy to administer orally.

Because it’s applied directly to your pets’ skin, it is effective at providing relief from pain and inflammation for a long period of time. We’re also impressed to see that Progressive Pet Products only use organic hemp seed oil with their CBD oil, so their products are as pure as they come.

It’s clear to see that this CBD oil company is passionate about providing a natural option for animals. However, while they say that their lab test results are available upon request, they haven’t put them up for public viewing on their website, which we find quite strange.

They also don’t disclose the source of their hemp or the extraction method that they use. While they have admirable intentions, without vital information like this it’s difficult for us to trust them and their products.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, we do believe that Progressive Pet Products is a promising brand that has an excellent team behind it.

However, we cannot condone a company that doesn’t want to disclose important information like lab testing results or extraction methods. The name of this game is transparency which means the more upfront and honest you are with your customers, the more successful you’ll be.

Without this, it’s impossible for us to determine whether their products are safe for your pets or not.

  1. I’ve used their transdermal gel on my elderly cat who’s got some skin issues due to his old age. Unfortunately, it didn’t help much. I can’t say that I’ve noticed any effect at all. The gel was really expensive too so it’s a huge disappointment. I don’t know if I should return it and get a refund.
